What to say in times of challenges

When the thoughts from the past bring tears and the thoughts of the future bring fear;

When your mistakes take your peace and nightmares enhance evil thoughts;

When you look up to the sky, expecting the sun to shine but all you see is a dark cloud.
Please, Say something good to yourself.

When people that trouble you increase and your love for people decreases;

When the bands of the wicked rob you and the words of your acquaintance hurt you;

When the proud oppresses you, and men despise you, in your distress, please say something good to yourself.

No matter what you are going through, say good things to yourself.

When men curse you without cause and anguish take hold of your purse.

When your heart is broken and refuge fails,

When your friend stands aloof, and your kinsmen stand afar off.
Please, say something good to yourself.

When lies and false accusations are laid against you and tears fill your eyes, lift your face and say something good to yourself.

Though you walk amid trouble and your soul is disquiet within you, yet say something good to yourself.

When your groans make you weary, Launch deep into Psalm 6, there you will see that David never kept quiet even when his
eyes were consumed because of his grief. He kept talking to his spirit and maker in pain and grief. The same thing did Job.
You will feel your pains when you set your mind to your challenges. You will feel ashamed when you commit yourself to them, but you can still the storm when you think of the glory ahead.

What you are going through cannot speak, but you can speak to overcome it.
When your strength is going down, go down on your knees and tell God your needs. Stop walking around with your face frowning. You can never get drowned when you lay your pains down at His feet.
Please do not stop saying good things to yourself no matter the situation.
