A WAR WITHOUT SWORD (VISION 2020)

A new decade, new challenges.
Is this the Vision 2020 we have been talking about?
Many are dying unprepared.
The old are burying the young.
Borders shot, economy falling.
States are boiling and nations are rioting.
Visions peeping, hunger killing.
Homes breaking, marriages shaking.
Rules breaking and strength failing.
Rumors and lies keep spreading.
People fretting and faith shivering.
Debt increasing and jokes become men’s pleasure.
Unknown sicknesses and viruses keep originating,  medical practitioners are confused.
Right now, brothers are forsaking the fellowship of one another.
Our freedom of movement is hijacked by viruses.
Lovers of owambe are not hearty because parties are halted.
Now we ought to know that the end is knocking, by now our eyes should be opened.

Yet, some are still paying the devil their dues, dancing to his blues, thinking they will not lose and forgetting that the devil in his craftiness is a good player and a brainwasher.
Some still carve out gods and bow to them, daily engaging in immoralities and other forms of iniquities.
Yet, our government keeps promising and failing, asking people to quarantine but the end of it is not guaranteed. Staying indoor is not wrong but for how long? This is a war against our spirit which does not involve bullets and swords. The battle line is drawn and the conflict between the soul, stomach, and hunger is becoming stronger.
The pain of the wounded masses is not felt because everyone is minding their business and in total lockdown.
It has been a while we heard the church bell’s tone. Oh Lord, forgive us all we have done wrong, this should be everybody’s plea and urgent prayer.
Let each of us start a victory song.
On my lips is a song of freedom from this war without a sword.
Finally, one has to be strong according to Ephesians 6:10.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)

Never stop singing to your maker songs of praise in your closet because one of these days, everything will be over and it will not tarry.
