A Day of Thick Darkness
A Day of Gloominess
A Day of Clouds
A Day of Calamity
A Day of Mourning
A Day of Destruction
A Day of No Escape for the Wicked

So, make an alarm and tell others that there is a Day of the Lord. Let everyone tremble because the Day of the LORD is at hand (Joel 2:1-12, 30-31).

A Day of Earthquakes, but the LORD will be the hope of His people and the strength of the children of Israel (Joel 3: 14-16).

A Day of Stumbling for the proud and all those who do wickedly.
A Day of Burning, where neither root nor branch will be left.
But unto you who fear the LORD, your name shall be saved (Malachi 4:1-2).

Turn back to the Lord and repent. The Day of the Lord is around the corner. It’s at hand, so be alert. Let us not be caught unprepared in Jesus’ name.

Question: When is the Day of the Lord? Will it occur before or after the Rapture has taken place?

I heard a voice, “sit down, sit down”, then it faded away.
I heard a voice singing “the labour of our heroes past”, then it was no longer heard.
I heard a voice, “retreat, here’s no longer safe” but melted away in no time.
I heard a voice groaning in pain due to shots in the ribs.
Guy rested in his pool of blood
Guy shot from behind, dragged by his colleague.
Men in leafy green, shooting at innocent boys and girls.
I heard a voice saying words of prayer, not to die.
Intestines rushed out, blood gushed out. “You will not die, pray to God, nothing is gushed out” someone mumbled,
She gathered courage to mutter that,
Not to kill a groaning and sorrowful man.

Yet again,
I heard a voice, singing “Is this my last?”
Security light was out.

Alas!
In the dark, bullets were released.
In the dark, protesters retreating.
In the dark, amidst fears, killing falls, protesters were bent on lending their voices to end everything not worth continuing.

The voices came again amidst shootings, extended sufferings, strivings, and pains,

“#End SARS, End SARS”

Pools of blood,
Flames of fire,
Fires from bullets,
Broke the nation’s heart.
So called lazy youths were set to work and ready to rescue,
Treated some patients denied of being taken to hospitals.
The nation’s flag was soaked with innocent youths’ blood, crying at the heat of gunshots.
A great genocide it was!
It wasn’t anything but a massacre in a nation’s history.
Lekki toll gate massacre, 20th October 2020-
Rains of bullets penetrated into hearts, bellies, ribs, lungs, chests, and brains.
They sang in unison as bullets ripped them apart.

Their hopes chattered,
Their trusts betrayed,

He was shot while holding a white and green flag,
He had a bullet hanging in his left ear and ribs.
Still, he uttered under his breath, “peace and unity”, and gave up the ghost.

The country bled.
I felt pain, I cried my eyes out till I was called to order.
I will write your names in gold, although your souls are worth more. I wept bitterly; knelt and called upon God.
I knew He heard my cry.
He saw my tears.
He will fight our cause.
Here’s God’s own country.
God please, fight the cause of the martyrs.

The hearts of kings are in the hands of God.

Apostle Paul’s marital status was never specified in the bible but some believed that he was married at a point of time based on what he said in Act 26: 9-10.

“Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 this I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. Act 26: 9-10.

Paul said he cast his vote against the Christians and history tells us that you cannot cast a vote if you are not a member of the Sanhedrin neither will a man be part of the Sanhedrin without been married. Perhaps he has lost his wife at that time as he didn’t talk about his wife in any of his writings. However, it was very obvious that he was single when he wrote 1 Corinthians 7:8.

8: but I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; 9: but if they cannot contain let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. 1 Corinthians 7:8 (NKJV)

Furthermore, there is no documentation about his family but Act 23:12-35 revealed that Paul had a sister.

12 And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. 13 Now there were more than forty who had formed this conspiracy. 14 They came to the chief priests and elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great oath that we will eat nothing until we have killed Paul. 15 Now you, therefore, together with the council, suggest to the commander that he be brought down to you [a]tomorrow, as though you were going to make further inquiries concerning him; but we are ready to kill him before he comes near.” 16 So when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their ambush, he went and entered the barracks and told Paul. 17 Then Paul called one of the centurions to him and said, “Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to tell him.” 18 So he took him and brought him to the commander and said, “Paul the prisoner called me to him and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to say to you.”

Apostle Paul was used by God to contribute to the expansion of the Kingdom. His conversion was a miracle, which indicates that nobody is useless. Do not misinterpret his message; ask the Holy Spirit to direct you and also strengthen you as He did for Apostle Paul.

Narcissus, in Greek folklore, was the son of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. He was known and distinguished for his beauty. According to Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Book III, Narcissus’s mother was told by the blind seer Tiresias that he would live long if he never recognizes himself. Many fell in love with him including Oread nymph Echo. However, he only despised and contempt. Even some killed themselves because of him. Nemesis, the goddess of vengeance, learned this and decided to punish Narcissus for his behaviour. She led him to a pool; there, the young man saw his reflection in the water, discover is beauty and fell in love, although he did not realize in the beginning that it was just a reflection of himself he had fallen in love with. When he understood it, he fell in anguish that his love could not materialize. At his reflection, he stared and stared until he died (committed suicide)

After Narcissus’ death, a beautiful flower sprang up from where he drowned and died. The lovely flower has its head hanging slightly, bending over the water (pool). The bending nature of the flower was likened to Narcissus bending down and gazing at his reflection. Today, the flower is called Narcissus and tied to the meaning of egotism. Narcissus flower is also known as a daffodil flower. Also, there is a mental disorder coined from this name which is known as “Narcissism”. You need to know what Narcissism is in the next update.
